NOTE: Don't worry about this page until AFTER you have taken your Phlebotomy Final!
Shortly after completing the phlebotomy final, our Quia Classroom content will change from tests and activities to our practice or mock tests for National Certification. You can use the Quia Classroom link on our Class Blog to access the tests.
We recommend taking the practice tests (there are 14) repeatedly until you are scoring at least 80%. You will need 70% to pass the national exam, so if you are scoring 80% or better on our practice exams consistently, you should have no trouble passing the national exam.
Each practice exam has 25 questions and you are given about 23 minutes to complete them. This is about the same ratio of time-to-questions as the actual national exam, although the national exam will have about 120 questions that you have to complete in about 2 hours (one question per minute!).
Good luck! Take one practice test (or more!) a day until you're doing at least 80% and move on to the next one. Don't give up! This is the last step before going out into the world and looking for a job. Being nationally certified will enhance your resume and should go a long way in convincing an employer that you will be a good hire!
